So, I can explain. I was making a blueberry protein shake because I’m eating better in the interest of meeting my top New Year’s Resolution (“to not die”) and this is what happened. I brought a full glass of it over to my computer desk in order to go web surfing write a post when I inadvertently knocked the glass off the desk. I don’t know how it landed, but it spread all the way across the room to the fridge and up to the ceiling. Now, I don’t know how high the ceiling is because we don’t put Christmas trees in the kitchen, but if I had to guess I’d say it was taller than me. Anyway, this is how the ceiling looks after the cleanup. I am truly grateful that it wasn’t a chocolate shake because then my ceiling would look like a murder took place in the kitchen.
So, on a related note, does anyone know how to get blueberry stain off a painted ceiling short of painting over it?

something like this happened to me as a teenager…when my folks were away. There was some bleach, a mop, some safety glasses…and a firm resolve that I would never speak of it again. Crap! Oh well. For the record, it did seem to work, or my aching arms convinced me of that, and my parents never noticed. It is possible that they haven’t looked up yet, I suppose.
Have you thought about moving to Massachusetts? We would get along famously. Just ignore the weather reports on television about this state.
Oh no!!! This reminds me of the time my dad got wine all over the wall and ceiling when a bottle he was opening went kaboom! Shoot, I don’t know what could remove blueberry stains… Maybe you could try spraying it with clorox bleach? Otherwise, paint may be the only way to go…
I’ll try the Clorox first. Thanks!
